Summer DBT Skills Group for Teens 14+
Does your teenager have difficulty managing intense emotions? Challenges navigating relationships? Would practicing mindful awareness and coping skills in a structured peer environment be beneficial?
Most kids are counting down the last days until summer break. Summer often brings with it a lot of open time. While less structure and more time at home may be a welcome change after a busy school year, it can be a struggle for those with mood and mental health concerns. Less structure and more time often lends to greater difficulty with emotion regulation and relationships.
Summer is the perfect time to sharpen skills in emotional regulation, building and maintaining positive connections, and mindfulness.
Join our summer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group specifically designed to help teens 14 plus learn essential skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness in a supportive and empowering environment.
