NEW iMove Group Starts in October!

We are excited to share that a Virtual iMove Group for individuals struggling with compulsive exercise starts October 9th.  Join others in a 6-week group to work on healing your relationship with exercise.  Combining elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Education and Experiential Learning, the iMove Group provides a structured roadmap to help you move from a disordered relationship with exercise to an empowered and embodied one that can be a resource in your eating disorder recovery.

Dates:  October 9th through November 13th (6 weeks)
Time:  7-8:15 PM
Price: $390 (can be split into 2 payments, equity pricing available)

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Amy Gardner, MS, RD, CEDS, RYT

Amy is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and yoga teacher with twenty-three years of experience working with eating disorders at all levels of care.  She is creator of the iMove® program based on her book, iMove, Helping Your Clients Heal from Compulsive Exercise.In addition to her nutrition and yoga training, Amy has a solid background in psychology. She incorporates mindfulness, breath awareness and meditation into her work drawing from her extensive training which includes the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness (MB-EAT) through UMASS Medical Center.  Amy also brings sensory integration awareness to her work.  She’s certified in the Sensory Motor Arousal Response Treatment (SMART) method for working with children with trauma.
