Bella Denaro

Licensed Dietitian
She/Her

“The cornerstone of my values is empathy. I have a desire to understand where people are coming from and to be compassionate in my care.”

Bella understands and deeply respects that everyone has a unique relationship with food. For the past five years, she has specialized in working with individuals navigating eating disorders and disordered eating patterns, with particular experience supporting those struggling with binge eating and complex presentations. She brings both clinical expertise and compassion to her work, helping clients untangle deeply rooted food beliefs while guiding them toward a more peaceful, sustainable relationship with nourishment.

Bella is especially passionate about the intersection of nutrition and reproductive health. She recognizes the profound impact that nutrition, stress, and disordered eating behaviors can have on hormonal health and reproductive function. As a mom of twins herself, she feels honored to support women through fertility challenges, preconception, and perinatal care — helping them rebuild trust with their bodies during some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative seasons.

Through a Health at Every Size® (HAES) lens, Bella translates complex nutrition science into simple, relatable, and empowering guidance. She is committed to making evidence-based nutrition accessible and approachable, while cultivating a space where clients can build confidence, autonomy, and peace with food.

Bella earned her undergraduate degree in Communication from Fairfield University, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding how messaging shapes relationships and societal norms — including diet culture. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Nutrition Science at Framingham State University through the Coordinated Program in Dietetics, gaining extensive training in medical nutrition therapy and clinical care.

Outside of work, Bella enjoys testing new recipes with her sisters, exploring new cities, reading, and rebelling against diet culture whenever she can.

Testimonial

“Our daughter has really enjoyed working with Bella over the past few months- so much so that she inspired me to make the call and start seeing someone on my own for my own issues! Bella has been the motivation that our daughter has needed to actually make dietary changes. Before working with Bella, our daughter refused to make any changes to her eating habits, even though her medical specialists kept telling her how important it would be to make better food choices. Now our daughter goes to the grocery store with my husband every week to pick out nutritious foods! She is researching recipes online and is now cooking with my husband in the kitchen. She even eats salads now!!! Previously, she had eaten lettuce twice in 15 yrs. What an amazing change this has been for our daughter. Thank you to Bella for making a huge difference in her life.”
