Lesley Wayler, LICSW

Licensed Independent Social Worker
She/Her

"I believe healing starts with listening, not fixing. I'm here to support your unique journey with compassion and respect."

Rooted in a multigenerational family legacy that pioneered a non-diet approach to health and wellness, Lesley brings a deep commitment to challenging narratives that uphold diet culture while helping you build a more trusting and fulfilling relationship with your body, yourself and your life.

Lesley specializes in working with individuals navigating eating disorders, body image distress, and the deeper emotional and behavioral landscapes that often accompany these struggles. She believes healing starts not by trying to “fix” yourself, but by learning to listen – to your body, your needs, and the feelings you may have been ignoring in order to cope.

Lesley earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California and has devoted the past decade to supporting adolescents and adults through eating disorder treatment and recovery. Her clinical training spans multiple levels of care, including graduate work at UCSD’s Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research in San Diego, California, specialized post-graduate training in the treatment of Binge Eating Disorder at Green Mountain at Fox Run in Ludlow, Vermont, and outpatient eating disorder treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital’s Eating Disorders Program in Boston, Massachusetts.

Lesley draws from a range of evidence-based and body-based approaches, including DBT, CBT, ACT and mindfulness-based strategies. Her work is also informed by Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Mindful Eating-Conscious Living (ME-CL) and Body Image Workshops. She values team-based care and collaborates closely with other providers to ensure her clients receive holistic, affirming support.

Lesley strives to create a judgment-free space where you can slow down, deepen your self-understanding and explore growth at a pace that feels right for you. Her relational, body-aware approach combines warmth, curiosity and presence with expert guidance and respect for your ability to lead your own healing.
