Jennifer Drohan, M.Ed. RD
Jenn was born and raised in Southern NH and earned her BS in Nutrition from UNH. She then worked at Children’s Hospital Boston before completing her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education at Framingham State College and completing her dietetic internship.
She gained extensive experience in Nutrition Support while working at Massachusetts General Hospital as a member of their Nutrition Support Team. She went on to work with several infusion therapy companies as a Home NutritionSupport Dietitian. As a home Nutrition Support Dietitian, Jenn worked closely with clients and the rest of the Feeding Team to maximize parenteral, enteral and oral nutrition therapies.
After becoming a mom and gaining first-hand experience of Autism, ADHD and related GI issues she began consulting for Early Intervention (EI). At EI, Jenn collaborated with therapists to create nutrition goals for children and their families. She empowered parents to change many different types of eating behaviors while promoting pleasure in the feeding process. Jenn has given numerous professional and parent talks on Nutrition and Autism and continues to be intrigued by the role of the Gut Biome in GI issues.
Outside of work, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband, her friends and raising two spirited boys. Happy times also include visiting the beaches of NH, Maine and Cape Cod. Her goal in any session is to minimize anxiety that nutrition concerns may cause and to empower her clients to understand that just like life, healthy eating is a journey, not a destination.
