Meaghan was born and raised in Central Mass and is fortunate enough to be raising her own family there. She earned her bachelor’s in Psychology from The Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C., and went on to complete her master’s in Food and Nutrition in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at Framingham State University. Presently, Meaghan teaches a Clinical Nutrition course there.
Meaghan has extensive experience in pediatric medical nutrition therapy. She has worked at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2009, both as part of their inpatient team and in their outpatient pediatric specialty clinics for cardiology and endocrinology. Currently, she functions as a member of the Feeding Team, where she collaborates with Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Pathologists. Additionally, Meaghan works as part of a team in the Raising Healthy Hearts Clinics for pediatric weight management alongside a pediatric cardiologist, pediatrician, behavioral psychologist and health coach.
Meaghan enjoys educating and counseling families to create nutrition goals that are unique to their own personal preferences and daily lives.
