Emily is the friendly voice and face you’ll likely encounter first at Metrowest Nutrition. In her role as Client Care Coordinator, she helps our entire organization run smoothly and ensures you get the care you need.
Emily’s passion for helping others led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emmanuel College. During that time, she worked with children and their families, primarily from underserved communities. From this experience, and her growing drive for social justice, Emily went on to receive a master’s in Social Work at UConn. She concentrated in Policy Practice and learned to understand and navigate larger institutional systems and the policy arena.
While in her graduate program, Emily used her understanding of policy to advocate and better support clients. Prior to joining us at MetroWest Nutrition, she worked as a Residential Counselor at a primary school and also has experience working with Jump Start and an Equine Therapy program.
In addition to helping our clients access services within our practice, Emily helps us form strong partnerships in the community, ensuring our clients access services outside our professional scope.
